British menswear brand, Cavani (formerly House of Cavani) has extended its partnership with Northamptonshire County Cricket Club (NCCC) ahead of the new season, reinforcing a relationship built on shared values of craftmanship, presentation, and pride in performance.
As official partner of NCCC, Cavani has renewed its collaboration from 2024/25, which sees the menswear brand supply tailored suits to both the club’s captain and its operations team, extending a partnership that has already proven its worth on and off the pitch.
As part of the 2026/27 agreement, county captain Luke Proctor will wear the Cavani Caridi blazer in wine, which is a burgundy colour, at every fixture coin toss, with the NCCC crest embossed on the front pocket.
Three additional suits in the Cavani Bond style, in midnight navy, have been supplied to operations staff for use at club events throughout the summer.
The result is a cohesive sartorial identity that carries the Northamptonshire name with the distinction it deserves.
Players have also been featured wearing Cavani casual wear from its Travel and Resort Wear collection, which includes polo shirts, chinos and trainers.
In April 2026, Cavani brought its tailoring expertise to an event at NCCC’s 1878 Business Club, where a pop-up stand gave more than 100 corporate members the chance to experience the brand in person.
Jack Whitehurst, Head of Custom Made, was on hand throughout the event to field a steady number of enquiries from attendees keen to discover Cavani’s bespoke service offering.
Sukhi Mondair, CEO of Cavani, said: “Our partnership with Northamptonshire County Cricket Club has always felt like a natural fit in that they fully appreciate what it means to represent something with pride. “Cricket, at its best, is a sport of excellence and precision, and that alignment with Cavani’s own values made this partnership a natural one from the outset. Extending the partnership into another season reflects the strength of the relationship we have built together.”
At Cavani, we hold ourselves at an uncompromising standard in the quality of every garment we produce and the partnerships we choose to invest in.
To see that standard reflected in how Northamptonshire presents itself, from the coin toss to the boardroom, is exactly the kind of impact we set out to have. We look forward to deepening the relationship and to the season ahead.”
Beyond the wardrobe, the partnership includes the Cavani team being welcomed as guests of Northamptonshire at Wantage Road throughout the summer, with invitations to matchday hospitality and the club’s exclusive 1878 Business Club events.
The invitation is an acknowledgment that the most enduring commercial relationships are built on genuine connections as much as contractual value.
“We are truly excited to re-establish our partnership with Cavani,” said Daniel Vernon, COO of Northamptonshire County Cricket Club.
“Providing our County Championship captain with a branded blazer is a brilliant addition to our partnership with Cavani. It adds genuine class to how we present the club at these pivotal moments before a game.
I very much look forward to welcoming the Cavani team to 1878 Business Club events and Wantage Road this summer.”
The renewed partnership reflects Cavani’s broader strategy of aligning with institutions that share its commitment to excellence and presentation.
Sukhi added: “As our brand continues to grow its presence in British sport and culture, collaborations such as this one demonstrate the breadth of its appeal beyond the high street, as well as the confidence that comes with wearing a suit that has been made to mean something.”
The partnership comes at a significant time as Cavani with the brand operating 18 stores across the UK, having opened new locations in Cheltenham and Leeds this year with further expansion planned over the next year.
As Cavani continues to grow its national footprint, strategic partnerships with institutions such as Northamptonshire’s standing, play an important role in deepening the brand’s presence in key regions and reinforcing its position as Britain’s leading menswear destination.
