Cavani Kits Out Lincoln City Football Players Ahead of EFL Awards

Leading menswear brand, Cavani, (formerly House of Cavani) has supplied and fitted suits for two of Lincoln City Football Club’s standout performers ahead of the 2026 EFL Awards, reinforcing the brand’s growing presence at the intersection of sport, style and occasion dressing.

Two of the club’s top players Jack Moylan and George Wickens, were invited to the Lincoln store today to try on suits for the black-tie event taking place in London on Sunday 19 April.

Midfielder Jack Moylan and goalkeeper George Wickens visited the Cavani store on Lincoln's High Street today for a private fitting ahead of the black-tie ceremony, which takes place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Sunday 19 April, broadcast live on Sky Sports Football.

Both players were styled in the Cavani Aspen Black Tuxedo and Malibu Waistcoat, as a signature combination from the brand's formal collection designed for occasions that demand presence and precision.

Moylan and Wickens have been instrumental in one of the most remarkable seasons in Lincoln City's history.

Nicknamed ‘The Imps’, the Lincoln City Football Club, secured promotion to the EFL Championship for the first time in 65 years after Moylan's 96th-minute winner at Reading on Easter Monday sealed their return to the second tier.

The 24-year-old Dubliner, the club's top scorer with 10 league goals this season, recently signed a contract extension through to 2030, while Wickens, who joined from Fulham in July 2024 on a four-year deal, has established himself as one of League One's most commanding goalkeepers, earning praise for his performance, composure and distribution throughout a promotion-winning campaign.

During their visit, the players were given a tour of the Lincoln store, including the Custom Made section, where customers can select from a range of premium fabrics and have precise measurements taken for a fully personalised fit. Expert stylists were on hand throughout to cater to each player's preferences and arrange any necessary alterations.

Jack Moylan said: “It's been an incredible season and to be heading to the EFL Awards is the perfect way to cap it off. The team at Cavani made the whole experience really enjoyable. The attention to detail was brilliant, and I feel like I'll be stepping out in something special on the night.”

George Wickens said: “It was a very great service and we thoroughly enjoyed it with everyone here. It's going to be a proud moment walking into the awards representing this club after the season we've had.”

Sukhi Mondair, CEO of Cavani, said: “We were thrilled to welcome two incredibly talented footballers to our Lincoln store, and particularly proud that they have chosen signature black-tie pieces from our collection for one of the biggest nights in English football.

“Jack and George were given exactly the kind of experience we offer every customer who walks through our doors, which is an attentive and personalised service delivered by expert stylists who take the time to understand individual preferences and ensure a perfect fit.

“What these players have achieved this season for Lincoln City is extraordinary, and we are honoured that Cavani will be part of their story as they celebrate at the EFL Awards. We'll certainly be rooting for them as they step out in style.”

Moylan, who joined Lincoln from Shelbourne in January 2024, has emerged as one of League One's most decisive attacking talents this season, earning the nickname the “magic man” from Lincoln boss, Michael Skubala after securing a 2-1 League victory over Burton.

Wickens, originally from Petersfield, developed through the academy at Premier League Fulham and gained further first-team experience on loan at Wealdstone and Ross County before making the move to Sincil Bank, where he has become a cornerstone of the club's defensive resilience.

Together, both players have played a pivotal role in Lincoln City's promotion to the EFL Championship for the 2026/27 season, ending a 65-year absence from the second tier of English football and writing themselves into the club's history.

The Cavani Lincoln store is located at 190-191 High Street, Lincoln, and offers a full range of premium Italian-inspired menswear, from formal suiting and black-tie collections to smart casual and occasion wear. Appointments can be booked via www.cavani.co.uk/pages/book-a-store-appointment
